CCTA SO FAR...
Climate Change Tech Accelerator is a 20 week program, which includes business, technological and impact training and workshops, based on the curriculum developed by UNDP in Armenia and ISTC Foundation. The program provides idea, pre-seed, seed and growth stage startups and mature companies with a practical, step-by-step roadmap to building an enduring business. Through tailored mentorship and a specially designed curriculum, ventures were able to strengthen their market presence, scale up their impact, and increase their investment absorption capacity. Ventures were introduced to a network of Impact investors with access to funding opportunities by participation to conferences and roadshows in international and national level and had exclusive access to UNDP’s network.
The core mission of CCTA '18 was to establish a sustainable mechanism for the promotion of innovations and replication of technological solutions, such as:
monitoring tools of illegal logging,
forest fire fighting solutions,
prediction of agricultural losses caused by natural hazards,
an online platform that facilitates the path to market for farmers,
efficient usage of water resources,
local smart systems and greenhouse technologies.
